100hp shot. 150 if you're careful and do it right.

100 is a little big for a first timer. I'd go with a wet 75 shot and go up from there.

Joker has a nice setup on his S10,But I can't remember how much though.I would start out with 75 and go from there. It's not hard to switch to bigger shot but I would start out low to get a base line to work on.

what would you go for in a stock 2.2L engine

For the 2.2L I'd go with a 35-50 shot wet.

75shot no more without spark control and increased flow. With the 100 shot your going to blow out your spark half the time and have a big drop in power around 3500rpms when you hit it followed by a boost that trows you into your seat. I know every one thinks this is cool and **** and the butt dyno says it's working but your loseing about 2 tenth on you time.
what your doing is actually starving the cylenders for a split second.

Dropped is right. 100 on a stock motor isn't a problem. It pays to ck. yourself with a wide-band O2 sensor to make sure your mixture is right but other than that stock timing works fine. I run 125 on mine with R42TS Delco plugs. My A/F is around 12-1 when on nitrous. PM me if you want details.

Damn... I must have missed this thread all together. On a stock motor I would run a 75 shot for sure. That's what I do. I have never had any problems. I do switch out the pills and play with a 100 shot. In my opinion it's not worth it to spray a 100 shot on a stock motor unless you have some slicks. TRUST ME... you will not get any traction. I couldn't get very much traction with the 75 shot unless I waited until I was up to speed. Look at the time in my sig. That was the best I could pull on street tires with a 100 shot. It's only 0.2 seconds faster then with a 75 shot. My time should be a lot better for an extra 25 horses (rated at the rear wheels) but then again traction comes to play. So without slicks you are putting an unneeded strain on the engine because you gain isn't going to be all that great. Also your stock exhaust manifold is going to start to choke when you start getting upwards of 300hp at the crank. I don't know how other kits rate their hp numbers but my ZEX kit rates it by rwhp. This can be seen on my dyno sheet. I pulled 156 rwhp on a dyno. Switch to the jets that ZEX recommended for a 75 hp gain and I dynoed again to get 232 rwhp. That is actually a 76 rwhp gain. Very good in my opinion.

I run the same plugs.

I have relocated my two tanks and my battery to my bed to put some weight over the tires. I haven't raced it like this yet though. I'm buying new tires this friday and Car Wars is coming up at the local track and I might just run it. STILL NEED SLICKS!! Anybody want to donate some?? You can see my setup here.
