leaves found near spark plugs

I guess this is the best place for this thread...but anyway, I was looking around under the hood today and I found a bunch of burned up leaves right up next to spark plugs 2 & 3, and they were all burnt up and oily. I thought it was a little peculiar, but then I remembered it was sitting under a tree at the dealer I got my s-10 from for a couple weeks. Still doesn't explain exactly how the leaves got there and why they were a bit oily. Just wondering if anyone thinks this could have been dangerous(fires???) or if there may be a problem(oil??)

alot of times the dealers will leave the hood up when selling a car so maybe thats how they got in there. as for a fire just make sure you got them out and you'll be fine make sure theres none near the headers. the oil well and thing under the hood will get dirty eventually but if there really oil soaked i would clean everything under the hood real good so that way you will be able to see if you have a leak anywhere.

or the dealer spilled oil under the hood and used leaves to clean it up......you never know with those dealers.
