Wynjammer on Air injection years!

Sad, but in the shower 2 minutes ago, something hit me in the face that was so evident it wasnt funny.
If Al can offer a PCM for less tune instead of a handheld, cant PCM's for less delete or turn off the air injection codes. If they stay there but are turned off/deleted, it can code if the system if off and wont show in the states that OBD scan etc. Then a machinist here could make a block off plate for the air tubes and lose the whole system!!!

hrm. very interesting. you did say that one of the ways to dump the air injection system was to have the pcm reflashed. why the hell not? i mean some people might like the compressor for their bags or whatnot, but i'd rather have a s/c over the stock compressor. can always get an electric one anyways. obi, you might be on to something!

Wouldn't the block off be something like the EGR limiter, but without the smaller hole?

I'm thinking that you might be on to something. . . But, there still could be a way to relocate (that extra 1 1/2 to 2 inches) the air tube -- that way, it's still compliant with ALL laws. . . I've looked at it again, and the tube just seems like it's large fuel/brake line. . . I haven't looked close enough to see where it connects on either end, just where the check valve is. . . Maybe there's the possibility of fabbing up an entirely new line for the driver side -- it keeps the air injection functional, but moves it enough out of the way to allow an S/C to be mounted.

Nah instead of being like the majority, I was actually thinking of ways to power mod a air injected vehicle, the majority of the youngins would be playing, I got a MANUAL TRANS!! You know, got the gears all greased up, lets see how we can slam gears!!

As for making an adapter/ block off plate, I was thinking of just getting Headers with NO air injection.
