Shouldnt be to difficult. They are both 1st gen trucks correct?

Shouldn't be too bad... I've swapped a blue interior out of a Blazer and put in a gray interior.

The hardest part would be the dash. Didnt the early 80's have the 3 Round Guages? and later 80s - early 90s just had one panel?

82-85 would be the round guages. I'm pretty sure the dashes 'attach' the same to the firewall. What year truck?

well if I told you guys what year mine was that would be too easy:o

my blazer is an 85 and the int I want to put in is out of late 80's I think (sorry i looked at about 15 today). now someone was saying I will need to swap the door handles and all? also that i would need the gauge cluster from an 86. but what about the heater control's ? mine are above the stereo and the new ones are next to the steering wheel

1st design dash(82-85) to 2nd design (86-93)dash is gonna be a bit harder. There are a few mounting points that have changed, the 2nd design won't look right with the incorrect door panels. The heater controls went from being cable (1) to vacuum controlled (2). Its been done but not a bolt in swap.

You want a cluster from a 86-88 or 89 (I forget the ending date) so its cable driven to be the easiest.

I have older doors on my 89 and the door panels fit OK. In 85, the heat/defrost was vacuum controlled... (or so I learned from your post about the vacuum line) so that shouldn't be an issue. I thought 87wildside did this swap?

so can I just swap the heater controls and vents around ?

so you have older doors or door panels on your 89? what is the combo with years if you could?
