Muffler shop trying to rip me off

I went to the muffler shop today and asked how much they would charge to move my flowmaster back 1 1/2 feet back and dump it before the wheel. They told me $70. It sounds likea crock to me, so I am gonna go to my regular muffler place in mesquite to see what they say.

So if you're ever in rowlett and all the sudden your exhaust fallas off or something, dont go to jon's brake and muffler!!!

my friend got charged 80 just to put a muffler on. all they had to do is cut the end of the exhaust and put the muffler. it was a coconut launcher

I got charged 50 to cut off my existing stock muffler then replace it with a blowmaster that I provided. They even dumped it in front of the rear axle. The blowmaster only cost me 49 including s/h brand new so i got my exhaust for 99 total.

mine from the y pipe back with muff, was only 80

Mine was 40 bucks with muffler.Well I did weld mine up myself so it really only cost me the muffler and effort lol.But those are some shady prices from a couple of you.I would look around for a better cheaper shop.To just put a muffler in to replace another one should only cost around 20 to 30 bucks max.With muffler provided by you of course.

Yeah mine was 50 and that was in Chicago at a random muffler shop.
