Hey guys, I have a Dell Inspiron E1405 laptop and for the past 2-3 days the sound has been messed up along with the touchpad. It all started after the power cord came unplugged and the computer shut off (no battery came with it, bought it used about 4 years ago). Now the mouse is lagging pretty good and the sound is doing the same. I already tried re-installing the drivers to no avail. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Minnis

Bump, could I possibly reformat my hard drive?
you could. thats a major pain in the A$$. if it is software, that could fix it. (you have all the install cd's to put stuff back afterwards? you need those)
if something got zapped, then reformatting will do little or nothing.

Thanks guys, yes I have all the cd's but all the numbers (serial number and such) are worn off the bottom.

I really have no clue but the restore point would be my first option if it were me.
Second option would include a BudSelect tallboy mug and a BFH
