I found out that a set of '99 model headers will fit since I have no Air injection or EGR on my '02. SUPERCHARGED.....just curious...do you think that your TES header combination will work on my blazer, or am I screwed as far as decent header/y-pipe setups on my ride? I want edelbrock...but will settle for something else if need be:( How are the SLP y-pipe sys. cheaply built or worth the purchase? Thinkin' of changing out everything in 2wks while I'm on leave for 30 days...(I'll have tons of time to fart around with the header install if something doesn't go right) Thanks

Yours should have a primary cat just about where the 2 banks join together on the Y-pipe. Edels system wont work! The bends on your system is different and to run it would take some fabrication to get from end of the Edel pipe to your cat. Then you may have codes for cat problems running just one, plus the fact if your state has ANY emissions whether if be visual etc, before 80K you can't replace the Y-pipe section and cats!

Not worried about Jersey Emissions....I have Nebraska plates and REG (no insp. or emissions tests). Just wanted to open things up pre-CAT. Might have mufflex fab a whole new y-pipe from scratch....probably cost the same as a manufactured unit. I really dislike the stock setup and want stainless steel everything under there minus the cat...unless someone makes one:)
