I lowered my 91sonoma 2" front with spindles and 3"in the rear with springs. Now I have a bad vibration while driving down the highway. It starts about 50mph. I seen on JTR website about a 3/4 inch transmission spacer and 3 degree shims and this will take care of the problem. Has anyone had this problem and used these parts and do they work? Any help would be great because I hate to drive my truck because of the vibration.

Shims should take care of your problem, not sure on the spacer.

I had the problem on my Blazer with 3/3 drop (coils/leafs) Mine was just under hard acceleration though and the JTR alignment kit put an end to it. You might have a different problem other then drive-shaft or pinion alignment.

Do you have a one or two piece drive shaft. What cab size/bed? The spacer works well to help the front ujoint line up. but if you have a two piece shaft you will need to raise the carrier/support bearing also. The 3* shims will help the rear u joint line up.

I have a single cab short bed 1 piece shaft. I put new u joints in and still have the vibration. Think i will get the shim kit from jtr and give it a try.
