Ford Sport Trac Adrenalin-Dubbed “the world's first high-performance sport-utility truck (SUT)” by Ford, the Sport Trac Adrenalin is a strong hint at what we can expect to see from SVT in 2007. "We're looking to take Ford performance to an entirely new market segment with the Sport Trac Adrenalin," says Steve Lyons, vice president, Ford Motor Company and president, Ford Division. "Adrenalin is designed to offer a unique combination of performance and functionality never before offered in the 'go-fast' market." Marrying the best attributes of the old SVT F-150 Lightning and the current Explorer Sport Trac—i.e. four full-sized doors and sport-car performance—the Adrenalin features a 4.6-liter, 32-valve DOHC V-8 fitted with a Roots-type supercharger and a water-to-air intercooler. The result is 390 horsepower and 390 pounds-feet of torque, all of which is routed through a six-speed automatic transmission—the first for any SVT vehicle. The six-speed was designed for heavy-duty use, contributing to the projected 6000-pound towing capacity. Another SVT first is the Adrenalin’s all-wheel-drive system, which features a 60/40-torque split biased to the rear. The all-wheel-drive system is paired with Ford's AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control safety system. The Adrenalin uses a short- and long-arm front suspension, and a trailing-blade independent rear suspension, both of which utilize SVT-tuned shocks, springs, and upgraded front and rear anti-roll bars. Huge, split-five-spoke 21-inch wheels wrapped in 295/45R-21 tires frame oversized brakes at all four corners.

I really hate ford...why would you want to buy such a big, bulky truck with a little, tiny bed?

all wheel drive though, combined with supercharger... that's going to be a monster on the street, whether you like it or not.

ford trucks are ugly and this one is no different. the wing on the back makes it worse. unfortunetely it seems that chevy is now following this bulky body trend.
