I found a whole driver-side seat recliner assembly on eBay. Won it for $.99 + $10 shipping....

I've seen them on eBay from time to time. The Part# of the one I have is 12479966. I "think" the part number for the passenger-side is 12479968. I'm not sure if all the recliners are interchangeable on all models of second gen seats. I guess on some s-trucks (like my 4dr Blazer) might not have or need that extra handle that makes the seat fold forward. IDK if the ones that have this handle fits the 4dr seats or not but I'm going to find out.

I wanna see if I can come up with some kinda fix since these recliner assemblies are $50+ each and I have 2 trucks and ever one is broke...

Before someone mentions the handle HELP sells...it FAILS.

Just the handle? Someone sells billet ones or did at one time. Maybe Kaik? Site is down so can't check...

No, the shaft that the handle screws on to breaks. It's a second gen thing. You'll see....

Sometime they break off to where you can get the stupid HELP section handle they sell on it or on it good enough to be useful.

Oh I won't see. Throw those seats out before I had the truck for a week. :)

Post pics when you get it, maybe someone can help figure it out.

You threw them away. Or they're out of the truck and you still got them laying around?

Trash. I though it was just the handles. If I know I would have saved the guts.

Never broke any. My Jimmy still works and my truck is good too.

I never broke one either, but the Blazer was bought with one broke, Pam broke the other and The Jimmy had both broke when I bought it.

Nothing...my seat handles are still broken and I've also notice a seem in my seats starting to come apart.... I still have the recliner assembly and have yet to even give the seat a good enough look to see how I would even go about replacing them.
