Could you also tell me if this is the 2se or e2se carb?

2SE (E2SE is the electronic version). You can eliminate the egr.

undo the vacuum hose from the valve. Plug vacuum line with screw.
If you have the electronic version, your check engine light might come on when you are cruising for a while, but ignore it. If you have the standard 2SE, then you will need to richen the fuel mixture a little to make up for the inert gas charge not being there anymore and to also eliminate any lean fuel mixture detonation problems.
JJ, same process on a TBI??? LIke, say my truck???

yeah, thats all, it has a vacuum diaphram that operates it.
You should have a fuel metering screw. If you have any access to a 4 gas analyzer then use it to adjust your carb. I adjusted the carb in the josephine volunteer fire departments 454 ambulance and the 4 gas analyzer at work worked wonders in the process.
There is also a idle adjustment screw as well so dont get the two of them confused.

Oh and yes, same process on your truck TMan.
Just diconnect the vacuum hoses off the electronic solenoid (called the electronic vacuum control on the Catalyst sticker diagram). It has 2 vacuum lines that turn into a plug looking thing that plugs into it. The box is back by the firewall, is black, and has ribs on it. One hose goes to the EGR diaphram on the intake manifold and the other goes to the TBI ported vacuum source.
