this is how i spent my evening. first i took a set of bumper lenses and cut them half off, cut at 5 1/8" from the outter edge. this left the far top mount and the bottom mount. off the inner half i used a cut off wheel, cut the amber lense off, smoothed off the edges to make it flat, and proceeded to file the cut edges of the bumper lense housing so i could join the corners with clear silicon. little bit of patience and you end up with these bad boys...

i removed the old lenses from my bumper and put these new ones in to see how it would look w/o the fog lights also...(side/corner shot)

i've had a set of rectangular fog lights for a while. got em from wal mart, $20. i've had em mounted under the bumper, and on top. but when i realized that they would fit in the cut out in the bumper, thats when this whole project idea started. the inner top mounting hole for the bumper lenses was perfectly alligned to the middle of the fog lights. it was a little tight but i got em in and heres the final result...

even with half the bumper lense gone, i think it still puts out enough illumination to do its job as a running light/turn signal...
