did i hit a pot hole to hard?

ok got a 91 ex cab dropped it 4" in front 4" in rear with air springs to help lower down back end 1". spindles and coils in front and blocks with air shocks in rear. drove fine for about 2 weeks but now.....when you drive and give it gas at all, it feels like im going over a wave. i dont know the best way to explain other then when i used to be able to burp the throttle just the front of the truck would raise up but now it like sways to one side fast and than comes back.....? im thinking it has something to do with hitting something on highway and its knocked drive shaft outta alignment....i know its something in the rear...but dont know what?

Have you gone around and checked all the hardware? You have to retorque anything that comes off with suspension. Also check for cracked blocks.

Does it make any unusual clunking when you are going around corners with the wheel cranked all the way over? The ball joints are a pretty common failure. Put it up on stands and check for something loose.

my ball joints are going out an it feels like the tire is wobeling in and out when u go down the road plus if your in a turn an u hit a bump it feels like it going to bounce in to the other lane. pot hole feel like you just hit a square curb it sounds like the front end just got riped out but i check every thing on a regular and nothings ever lose.
if yours is an extended cab or long bed be sure to check the carrier baerring it could be worn out witch could cause a funny feeling like what u described
