I'm not sure what this would do to the paint, but have you tried using goo gone? it's supposed to take all sorts of adhesives off of stuff.

dont use goo gone unless you want your paint gone

Go get that 3M adhesive remover, a plastic putty knife, and WD40. Spray the adhesive remover on there, scrape with putty knife and wd40...easy

Hairdryer or heat gun, and goo gone is just fine to remove the sticky leftovers!

I used bug and tar remover, and a hairdryer. My decals came off with no damage to the paint. Hope that helped.

im with most of them:

use a hair dryer, then goo gone the adhesive off. it won't ruin your paint, it might leave some swirls, that waxing WILL remove.

Goo gone is perfectly fine. Ive used it so many times on my truc to get random adhesive **** off that somehow found its way on there. And Im removing my emblems next hot day that I get off.

At work when i need to take decals off the trucks, i have a little rubber wheel that attaches to a drill and i just spin the decals off. doesnt harm the paint at all, then i just take some adhesive remover to get the excess glue off.

Goo gone works. I work in a lab and make my own, Talk about high test. It does work. Oh if you can get xylene and toluene at your local home depot mix it 50/50. That's goo gone and it's a lot cheaper.

go to an auto body supply store and buy an eraser. thats what it is u put it in ur drill and takes the stickers off guick. body shops use them to remove pinstriping u can remove pinstriping off a full size car in about 5 min with an eraser.
