So in the morning or when the truck has cooled down and once driving when i step on the brakes they are really really sticky like i press the pedal doing say 5 mph and the brakes grab so hard. Once i warm the brakes up its fine they stop really well after that its just when its cold its really annoying any ideas whats going on?>

My 96 Sonoma did that. It was the right rear... I never fixed it though...

I have no clue why its doing it.
It almost seems like the brake pad material is very sticky as per say.
It could be the rear cause i have noticed one of them will lock up in the morning.
What would make that happen?
The drums are about a year old and the shoes and pads are the same the disc's are about 3 rs old

Check your rear wheel cylinders, make sure they arnt leaking. Brake fluid from leaky wheel cylinders will cause the rear brakes to be grabby.

I will check that.
When i did the brake job they were fine but that was a while ago.
They are only grabby when cold once heated up they are fine
