Alright, someone requested i put up some pics of some boxes here. I cant exactly remember who, sorry. But anyway, here are some pics of some of the boxes ive done here in the last few months or so. If you guys see anything you like let me know. I got some extra 12" boxes both single and duals sitting in the garage. Prices wont be beat just either post something in here or if you are looking for something different, you can send some mail to [EMAIL=bjfish11@hotmail.com]. Hope you guys like, and give me your opinions. Bare with me, it may be difficult to get all these pics up, cause im not exactly sure how to do this.

ok do you guys make a mold first than use that to make all your pieces or do you just build a frame and than lay your fiberglass over that than use some filler and sand it up smooth. i've been lookin at building my self a new box and i dont wanna do the same thing again. i really wanna get creative and see what i can really do.

they all look real nice, do you have any dual 10" boxes?

it depends on what you are lookin to do blazen . you can do either . if you are just wanting to do a box like he has shown. then you start with the back of the box , then build a frame on the front .
if you are building a full glass box then you have a choice to make , will it be flush with more than 2 sides or will it be flat bottomed ? one you answer that then you can pic your route . if its flush with more than 2 side i would make a mold . if its a flat bottom piece 1st i would cut out the base from 3/4 MDF and shape it how you want the base to look then build a frame off of that .

just a lil tip . dont paint the glass . you have to stab it in . it really had to get into all the little nooks and crannies of the mat or fleece .the only good way to get it in there is to stab away . basically it works like this . gob some resin on the material , then stab and work it in . repeat till all the material is SOAKED . you can tell when its soaked by the dark color .

i'm not really sure what i wanna do i guess i'll design it when the time comes but i was just wondering. and thanks for the tips. i'll remember them. i have done some fiberglass but not much and the first time i did it, it took for ever and i did it wrong and used the wrong stuff. but i guess thats how you learn..........thanks

yep only 2 ways to learn . the hard way or the harder way, at least with fiberglass . you best bet is to watch read and learn everything you can . then dive into it .

yeah thats kinda what i did but i dove into it than read and learned everything i could. but its all good i just learn from my mistakes and hopefully next time i'll do it right.

it depends on how crazy you want to get with it. But for just a base simple box for 4 12's id do for prolly like 220 plus shipping. I can do things like if you have a cap or some amps u want inlayed in the box. Also i can put in plexiglass and install some neons underneath. Pretty much anything, if you can explain it, ill be able to do it. Let me know man.

infax the pic didnt work but here it is. i also wanna redo mine because i need to get more subs in there. i wanna make it more rounded in there instead of haveing the one big box in the back than haveing the two side boxes come off of it. thats also the reason i was asking about fiberglassing.

I gotta get my hands on a head unit first of all, then once that is taken care of, I'll have to PM you once I get the subs and an amp. How much do you think the dual 10" box would run me?

For that s10 box behind the seat, keep in mind that that box goes into my bed. I did the cut through. But that would probably run like 175 plus shipping. For a dual 10 they would start at about 150 plus shipping.
