Chevy ecotech 2.2 In cobalts?

Can we swap a ecotech 2.2's into our s10's or are they designed too diffrent?
Mine let go and needs a top end and regasketing everything but there is one on craigslist for a decent price as a complete motor that I was wondering if I could drop in.
