Im thinking of doing that new DupliColor bed liner roll in stuff. Reason is I have alot of scuffs at the inside lip of the tailgate. With the flush sprintlid, you can see where the tailgate rolls in on the inside. Now with the spoiler, it is really noticable. I can attempt to paint it IndigoBlue but as much as my bed has been used, I got alot of inside tailgate scuffs. The roll on liner would cover it good and look decent.
Just a thought. But a cheap Bedrug would still be nice

I would do a roll on personally. The bed rugs are nice but about pointless IMHO.

I had the Herculiner in my sonoma, it wasn't bad but did eventually peel in some spots, but the Duplicolor stuff is way better. I use it in my 2500HD. I also went really thick with it to avoid any peeling. Been a year so far with crap in the bed constantly and I haven't had any problems yet.

I did the roll on duplicolor in my grey s10 i had, held up well and looked good to.

yeppers, Mine is peeling is spots where I didnt sand good... but a buddy of mine used that and his is still holding up fairly well.

I checked it out at Advance auto the other day it, (roll on stuff) Looks to be a newer type with more of it like a gallon. And it had a sample attached to the box and that is way way more thicker than whats on my truck.

I Like the roll on hell it beats the hell outta paying 600+ for them to spray on.

And for future reference... Mcguires tire wet in a can with the tire size spray setting shines that roll on up after it has seen a whole summer of 100+ heat.

And no have not heard back from that guy, although he listed the bed again on craigslist and said he would not part it out asking 800 for it again...

He will never get that much, not unless someone wrecks a stepside xtreme with stripes or fleetside and wants to swap out.

I thought about it but I like my fleetside. :D

yeppers.... He was doing good I had gotten about 400 worth of stuff from him, then his mother got involved and thought he was getting screwed, so she tried to charge me 35 for the defroster vent cover.... She said a new one is 45 and his wasnt cracked or nothing.... So yea go figure

But if you do decide to do the roll on I would see if you could get a portable sand blaster and put it on low pressure just to remove the paint. They say it is better to go to bare steel and start there. I know it was a pita trying to sand in between the grooves on the bed floor and all of the edges where it is factory siliconed.

Those are the only places I seem to have a problem and its only if something hits it to chip it. Other than the dent and spiderwebbed coating from a screw up on my behalf on the bed rail.

Some of them states do not apply to bare metal. When I used the dulpicolor spray on on my rear bumper I primed it first. On the front I was in a hurry and just sprayed it on after taking a wire wheel to it and it didn't stick as well.

Hmm. Yeah my first concern is the tailgate. I can sand pretty well there by hand. The entire bed is going to be a pita.
