TBI Question

I put this thread/question here cause it was a V8 forum but if it isn't please move it.
The question pertains to a 88 chevy v8 454 TBI, now looking down the throat of the TBI at the 10o'clock position you can hear a VERY loud air vacume leak, what is causing it and what is the suggested fix for this?

It is the idle air bypass port. The PCM uses this idle air control valve to regulate engine speed by bypassing the throttle plates via this port that you see and hear.
