Well I finally landed myself a great deal. A complete 1969 4 bolt points 350 for 150$. and he drove it up to me(200 miles) for another 10$.... couldnt pass it up. Its in great condition... i am tearing it apart in a couple weeks when the weather gets better to see how the whole motor looks. Im tellin ya.... i am anxious to get this thing in my blazer for the summer. Ill post up picks and things on the swap.

as you all know...i currently picked up a 1969 350 out of a 69 3/4 ton chev pickup. Just wondering what all mods i would have to do to fit it in my 88 s10 blaze. I havebeen reading around and a lot of people are saying that i need to move the tranny back 1" and the radiator into the core to give room for the electric fans and pulleys. Cant i just put electric fans between the radiator and grille?... also.. if i use a airgap intake manifold will i hve problems with the hood clearance? Also.. i have been told that i will have to change my distrubutor to electric cuz there is no firewall clearance. any opinions? also... shortie or regular hedders?
any help will be greatly appreciated....

your going to need first off the shorty headers. I got away with leaving my radiator in the stock position and running 16" dual electric fans with no problem. I was using a electric ditributor so i'm not sure about that. i'm sure you know about buying the motor mount plates to move your motor mounts forward.
