the 4.3 has a 4.000 bore size and 3.48 stroke. The rods are different depending on where the engine was made. The pistions are the same as the ones used in the chevy 350

what are your plans for this motor? if n/a no need for je pistons and h-beam rods,your motor will only make power to 4500rpm.

get the coated pistons. You won't have the hot spots you get with the non-coated. In theory you can run mid grade gas with the same results as high grade. In reallty you get less run-on and preignition.

gunna spray it a little now.........nothing big, maybe only 100 shot........want it to run good on motor for the next year or so............how heavy are the stock pistons and rods....???
