Rough starts, idle, and hesitation

I have a 01' dime with a 4.3 vortec and it wont run right. My engine light is on, i had it checked a few months ago, dont remember the code but it said it was running right. I'll go get the code read again after work but for now Im hoping someone can help.

When I try to start the car it cranks and cranks then finally starts up. Usually at the start up the engine will sound kind of like an engine thats been cammed. a kind of bluh bluh bluh sound. then it starts running fine. as i drive out of my apartment when i hit the gas to get on the road, it hesitates and the car doesnt really accelerate for a couple of seconds. Also at intersections it idles very rough.

I've been told i might have dirty fuel injectors but cant seem to find where they are. So my question is: Is my truck multi port injected or is it throttle body injected, and what can i do to fix it.

First off we need the code. I have never seen a code for it's running right.
You have a spider with poppet valves.
What is your fuel presure?
How old is your fuel filter?

check your fuel pump. mine was doing the same thing . It was pushing 2 lbs and it should be around 13. replaced it and it fixed the problem. New pump $57.00

ok ill go get the code tomorrow. the fuel filter is less than 6 months old. ive long suspected my fuel pump might be going because at idle the gas gauge will dance around. how do i check my fuel pressure? also i've heard what i think is a backfire when trying to start. it goes pfunk and then sounds funny when cranking until it fires, then it will run rough and i have to turn it off and back on again.

ok codes are p0101 and po300, random misfire and too rich. checked the fuel pressure. it leveled off around 10 when key turned on but engine off, and danced at 55 when engine running. also engine light went off and car ran better after i did this check?!? maybe the autozoner erased the light, idk. i talked to a mechanic and he believes its my fuel pressure regulator. he told me to remove upper intake, find regulator and turn key on, engine off. if it drips then thats the problem. sound good? any other suggestions/advice.
