DIS ingition (Distributorless Ignition System) uses a coil pack on one or two plugs. The timing on late model cars is controlled by the computer and the only way to adjust it is with a programmer, LS1 Edit, TunerCat, or any other tuning software or in your case, a Jet Stage 1 or 2 Chip.
