What is a good way to repair a crack in the dash pad. My dash cracked when i removed it to change the heater core

you can always use some epoxy, then use a vynl (sp) to cover it. i know they have the vynl coverings on ebay for pretty cheap...or just go to your local fabric store....this way you can cuztomize the color too.

Sorry to hear about that. X is correct, the thing with epoxy is you will have to sand and possibly(if the crack is big and noticable) have to either paint(leather and vinyl dye or even the new Krylon Fusion) or cover it with a new formed dash cover.

That krylon stuff works suprisigly well. how may i ask did you crack your dash while changing the heater core? do you have to completely move the dash to do it in a newer s series?... i know i just changed mine and i had to take the plastic covering off and go at it under the passenger side dash?

How good are these dash caps that they sell? I'm thinking about buying one. Has anyone here ever installed one? Do they look ok when you're done?
