loud poppin noise?

when ever i turn my steering wheel to full lock its makes a loud popping noise. just wonderin if anyone has any idea as to what it is?

Grease your ball joints. I had a similar problem that the dealer "couldn't reproduce" but when I checked the ball joints, they were dry.

Check balljoints as Lilyellow said, also check all steering linkage, check everything that moves when you turn the wheel. You'll be looking for excess play...Its really hard to say what it could be. But for sure check balljoints, and all steering components

does it happen when you have the wheel turned and are driving or just turning the steering wheel

it happened to me once and it was the ball joints so when i putmy spindles i greased the f**k out of thems

It could also be due to a lack of alignment shims. This is the problem on my truck. I have no idea how, but i looked, and where they should be, there is nothing. Hmmmmm

after i put the drop spndles on, i heard loud squeeking and noises, got them realigned and itsfixed that problem to

I had that loud squeeking b.s when i first droped mine 4/5....the dust sheilds were rubbing the LCA
