This is a stupid question but i'm trying to put in my techometer but i need a place on the fuse box that is a switched 12v and i don't knwo what to use. also i need to run a wire to the spark plug and it's not as long as i was hoping... where can i put this wire though?(might be long enouph to run across to the passanger side but my 6 guage wire for the amp is running through there... it can't go near a wire with alot of current going through it)
PLZ respond soon i'm looking at getting this done today

anything that is only on when the truck is on in the fuse box. such as windshield wipers...

the best spot to probally come through the firewall would be under the heater core on the pass. side of the vehicle, there is a grommet there. well, depending on the year of your truck. remember, you can always drill a hole!

I was hoping that i didn't have to drill a hole... i can't go under the heater core because of the wire i got ran there already...
also your saying i can hook to anyhting on the fuse box except the wiper slot?

no, im saying you can even use the wiper one. anything that only has power while the ignition is on. sorry i cant think of any others off the top of my head. check under the drivers side dash for where the wires are running in. there are grommets there, not exactly the easiest to access. if it were me, i'd drill most likely.
