i am about to purchase a firebird rear end and i want to put it in my s10 i wanna know what modifications i have to do so it will fit right

what year firebird? and s10 be more specific. I know the 3rd gen camaro vs firebird rear ends wont innerchange with each other. Not sure on the newer ones

also depends on motor size, I believe that the v6 cars like the 3.8 or 3.4 what ever it is runs a 7" rear end...
I ran a 3rd gen camaro disk axle in the back of my 94 Blazer 4x4, and just welded on the spring perch stuff after cutting off all the three link stuff from the tubes themselves. It is as wide as the front on a 4x4. The driveshaft hooked right up. Oh, and the ebrake cables never got hooked up again..

X2 if ur using the entire axle u wont just bolt in. U need to weld on the appropriate mounts. U could se the internal locker and gears. Again, the year / etc will need to be posted for best help
