Did you get a mechanical or electronic boost gauge?

get a t fitting and tap into your brake booster. that way your guage will read vaccuum.

thanks, i wondered how that worked....the brake booster, is that the same as the master cylinder, the big round thing by the abs sender? and where does the hose come out of the brake booster?

no, the brake booster is the large round thing attached to the master cylinder on the firewall. There is a check valve and a large heater hose looking thing going to it. The large hose is the vacuum line you want to T off from.

The brake booster vacuum line runs between the brake booster (big black circular thing mounted directly to the firewall -- the master cylinder is mounted to it) and the intake manifold. Technically you should be able to tap directly into any vacuum line and achieve a reading. The Wynjammer has a little brass plug on the discharge tube where you can mount a nipple (available at AutoZone for about $2). Remove the plug, mount the nipple and plug the vacuum gauge line into it -- that's what I have mine (but mine is digital, but it does still have a sending unit, so the principle is the same).

Just curious... what kind of digital gauge do you have, Super?

Cyberdyne -- picked it up from Summit back in January, along with a digital (bar graph type) a/f ratio gauge.
