CS130 Upgrade Options?

What are the upgrade options for the stock CS130 @ 100amps? I'm need some more stable power and it's getting close to needing a new one anyway.

Would a Self-Exciting CS144 @ 170amps fit into the stock location with stock wiring and everything?

Anyone ever done this? Info below \/

Also, would it be best to get a Dual-Rectifier or a Single? I plan on putting a system in with a 1200watt amp and 2 12"s

A cs144 will bolt in I been running one for a bit. You just have to find one that has the same case mounts. You can also get a cs130 thats built bigger but personally I'd go with a bigger alt.

I really can't remember I've had it for awhile. I'm wanting to say it was from a 1/2 ton truck and it was the cars that didn't work but research it and check before you buy one.
