You have to watch out where you buy these aftermarket HID's. Alot of them come from the same place, but rebranded. If you get some factory HID ballasts from a BMW, Mercedes...etc. (high end vehicle) that would be the best way to go. You would just need to find out what bulbs they support. Might be more expensive, but would work alot better.

I personally like the slim digital ballasts. I think they work pretty good. These look promising and comes with 2 year warranty. http://cgi.ebay.com/DIGITAL-SLIM-Xenon-HID-Kit-H1-H4-H7-H10-9005-9006-9007-/270448157730?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3ef7f76422

The Zentecs are the kits i have in all my rides. I have ordered about 15 or so sets of them and only had a problem out of one set so far.

Alot are cheapo kits. I got Xentec off ebay years ago and they lasted a longtime. The seller I got them frm is no longer on there but I see the brand from time to time.
I have installed for other people some ebay kits that had nothing but problems and they just looked cheap.
I get a few different kit brands from my suppliers and thus far they are all very good quality. I am still running Xentec bulbs after all this time and T-View ballast. T-View makes alot of mobile video products I sell. I have a few other brands.
I sell them installed price of $179.95 locally for a single kit and $199.95 installed for a hi-lo kit. Some cars are harder to install and $119.95 / $129.95 is my selling price for the kit itself not installed locally.

I had to up my install price and imply no labor warranty for kits brought in to me since every time a ballast goes bad or bulb goes out they come back. They always have to ride with one out and send off the ballast/bulb and wait for a replacement to come.
