Never heard of that but you may need shims to correct the driveline angle.
get under neath your truck and check the driveshaft endplay. sometimes when you lower your truck, it can push your drive shaft into your tranny. this is definitely not good. if the shims dont correct it you will need to have your driveshaft shortened.
its not nearly as common on extended cabs, but its pretty common for regular cabs with a 1 piece driveshaft.

some trucks are diff. than others.
one s10 will be lowered with absolutly NO probs....yet another s10 will have all sorts of problems. its just the luck of the draw

wow i have never heard of that
it's a common problem when you lower a truck 4". the driveshaft binds up slightly puting a bigger load on the tranny. for the reg cab you can shim the tranny 1 1/2" to help correct the issue. on an ext cab you can shim both the tranny and carrier bering.(you still need the pinon shim for the rear though).
dont forget to check this

I say 4" because he has an 01 X it was already lowered 2" and the pinon angle is the same a std pakage s-series 00-03. For a pickup truck they'er wrong from factory.

some reg cab trucks will need shimming...some ext. cabs will need the JTR driveline allighment kit, some trucks need custom driveshafts
you never know what the outcome will be after you lower a truck...but like i say, its the luck of the draw.
my truck didnt need anything fancy, just the angled blocks of course
exactly, my driveshaft had to be shortened. but like a said, having it shortened after a drop is much more common on regular cab trucks it seems
