Ok I bought an Air cleaner spacer (built by edelbrock) here is my writeup and evaluation. As far as price it was cheep, less than 10 dollars. Install: a blind 2 year old couldnt screw it up, just remove air cleaner assembly, set it in, replace air cleaner assembly, drink beer. Pros, not really any. Motor didnt seem to have any extra oomph, (although lately my motor doesnt seem to respond to any mods) but, at cruise (high idle) i didnt have to keep my foot quite as much into the petal. Cons: it cost me money, and it cannot be used with a TB spacer. Overall, I wouldnt purchase it again, unless for some reason i needed the base of my air cleaner to sit higher for clearance, if that is the case it would be great.
