Got everything installed, but damn getting the intake installed is what took the longest!!! Me and a couple buddies go it installed in about 3 hours like the manu(AL) said...I didnt adjust the spark plugs at all and the truck misfires around 4200 rpms....so i guess that means that i need to regap .040 the plugs and i'm gonna go with the NGK TR6 Plugs?? seems to be a good choice...Do i need to go with the aftermarket coil and wires??

You don't NEED an aftermarket igniton, but it won't hurt.
Yes, NGK TR6s will do fine -- gapped to .035 without an ignition.

aight, installed plugs and gapped to .035 runs like a SOB, but i still get a misfire blinking SES light around 5K rpm?? Not that big of a deal...trucks runs great....
awesome man!! i'm glad this GP worked out for everyone. Al said he was shipping mine today or tomorrow hopefully

Sounds like a stronger ignition might help, but I'm no expert. Also try running some better fuel in it to see if there is a detonation problem. My truck would flash the SES light if I really beat on it and then i put better fuel in and beat on it just as hard with no light flashing anymore. Just a thought, good luck.

Naw, already run 93 octane, maybe some 110 will fix it!!!!!! (hick accent)

The SES is probably an O2 sensor -- the post cat sensor -- going nuts because of the extra fuel. I'm willing to be that you're going very rich and the O2 doesn't know what to do about it. Of course, it could be the opposite, and it's going too lean and the "misfire" is the knock sensor going bonkers. Without driving it myself, it's hard to say. Best thing to do is to run a diagnostic on it and see what codes pop up.
I ran into the same problem with my Powerdyne when I still had the stock cat and O2 in place. I'd look into it if I were you -- an SES is nothing to fool around with, it could be nothing, though.

I was just giving a suggestion, because if it is detonating early in the high rpms a better fuel will fix the problem and then you will know what it is so you can seek a more perminate solution such as pulling some timing. What supercharged is saying sounds likely tho.

If i remember right i can use my pro flash programmer to get the code right? When i get the codes, where can i cross refference the code with the problem??

and if it is the O2 Sensor how can i fix the problem??

yes, use your hand held to find out what code you have.

If its the O2 behind the cat you could just get a simulator...

Let me know if you find an O2 sim. I called casper electronics awhile back to find one for my 02 blazer and had no such luck. They said they don't make one yet and none of the ones they have will work. So let me know if you are successful. Thanx
