Well all my lights worked perfect untill i did the face lift on my truck. when i had the grille and everything on, i only had 1 headlight, 1 corner light, and one bumper light that worked...maybe broke a wire or 2 during the install. NO problem, i will just get a new harness to plug into the firewall. well GM wanted 400$ for a new on, so i said screw that. Went over to the scrap yard and robbed a harness off a '93 blazer. went home, ripped the old out, threw in the new. Then all my corner lights and bumper lights worked perfect, but the headlights were screwed now. i would have the drivers side come on lo-beam, and the pass. side come on high beam (they would flash back and forth between hi and lo) so i gave up on it for the night...i was stumped, couldnt figure it out for the life of me.
I just went out and checked it all out again with the good ol' test light..tested both plugs and according to the little light, the lights should work fine! WTF, they wernt working last night! well ill be damned if they didnt work perfectly tonite...stupid 20 year old truck! i drove the truck this morning and hit a damn good pot hole and maybe it woke thoes damn lights up. who knows!!
i orignaly thought i had a hi burnt out on one side, and a lo burnt out on the other...whatever, they work now!! Im bored, so this rant is just because i want to keep my typing skills up to par! haha
