P C V on my 4.3

This is a problem i have with my pcv. Its the tube that runs from top of the valve cover to the manifold. the throttle cable casing sat on it for how long i dont know for sure. But whille it sat there and i used the throttle, it rubbed a hole in the tube, which i just found out about it when checking the oil. which i fixed thru the dealership. it was reasonably priced. part # 9344-1238 for the tubehttp://http://s1114.photobucket.com/albums/k521/waskelywabbit66/

Good info tho, I believe if I recall correctly, someone on here was having a PCV Rattle or resonance noise in their cab that was annoying, im wondering if this could be their situation. I would imagine that if that tube rests on the throttle cable sleve ever so gently, it could cause a bit of unwanted noise in the cab.

Thats a better link. Yep, looks like its rubbed through. Wrap the new one in foam or tie back the line this time Wonder if its been like that since new?

Dont know if it was lke that when new. But i did take some zip ties to it. pulled it up a little, used the wiper motor for an anchor.
