How do you disable the DRL's on a 98?

i just push the dome override button 4 times but im guessing thats not what you meant :D

Nope, i have an early 98 so i don't have that option!

i believe the option became available in 2000 for the disabling them via the dome override button...

It didn't work either! i have also tried the wire thing, but sense my pin's are not marked i was just guessing what slots to put the jumper in. So all that happen was some blown fuse's.98's are just wierd!

It worked FAX, thanks

I had to put a flashlight on the sensor for the AHL to shut off!

haha, gotta love the AHL. maybe ill do the DRL delete too...pressing the button every time annoys me. lol (yes, i know how simple it is..but it still is annoying!)

I did the drl headlight mod and the quad headlight mod, now my lo beams come on in the day time and run @ full power!
BTW, on the 98's the 4 button thing doesnt work. I am sure that is on 2000+

i prefer the look of no lights on during the day. and as far as the 2000+ disable. i already said it :-p

Yeah i had to do this, i got rid of my large GM ALT(140amp) when i had the powerdyne. So now that its summer i need all the power i can get out of this 105amp alt to run my BIG stereo AC and AL of the elec fans!

in my 98 4 speed i just leave the parking brake on just a tad and turn on the marker lamps, looks pretty cool w/ out the DRLS on

it works, but then you see the dummy light for the e-brake. this gets rid of it all together and is just as easy.
