i have a 2000 sonoma 2wd and its got a 2" inch Drop in front (spindles) and 3" inch blocks in the rear. i got Some z06 c5 wheels off a vette. and i was wondering what i needed to run for spacers and what size tires i can run the wheels are 17x9.5 and 18x10s i think its a 54 mm back spacing. Thanks
Devin
i think you might need a 1 inch spacer just to be able to turn somewhat sharp. i rub with stock wheels and a 2 inch drop at full lock

I don't know what the solution is for running them with drop spindles - you will probably have issues with the rim hitting your tie-rod end. I use 2.5" spacers all around with the same wheels and it works fine but I don't have drop spindles. Check the "corvette rims thread" on s10forum, there should be info there about what do with the fronts and the drop spindles.
I have drop spindles on mine, but I couldn't run 17x9.5's on the front, I didn't want to run a 3" spacer up front. And then, I'm not sure if it would even work, I don't know if this correct or not, but if you want to run 17x9.5's,and drop it, I think you have to do coils, instead of spindles. But don't quote me on that, lol
I have 18x8.5's with a 2.25" spacer and it just clears the tie rod, it's close.

Spacers can be pricey but the bright side is that resale is good on both the wheels and spacers if you ever want to get rid of them later! I've seen multiple sets of C5 ZO6 wheels (with shot tires) sell for $1000+ locally. It's not easy to find an 18x10.5" wheel that only weighs 21 lbs - the reproduction versions are closer to 30 lbs.
