i have a 2.2 00 dime
if i get the flowmaster 40 series what size inlet/outlet do i need for a perfect fit so i just cut slide on the new and weld?

Did you mean just the muffler or the catback? I don't think flowmaster makes a catback for the 2.2. The closest thing I found was a 4.3 catback flowmaster with 50 series muffler. btw, welcome to the site.

went on ebay and found a 40 series muffler, here's the link, but you might have to do a little fabrication to make it fit (not sure if it would slide right on)

Import, chime in here whenever. I believe it is a 2.25 inlet, 2"outlet

The 4.3 has a 2.5" inlet... not for sure about the 2.2's though

2.25" with the offset in and center out. You will need about 16-18" of extra tubing because the Flowmaster is shorter than the stock muffler.

yep it's shorter... and mine is offset in and center out... but still this is on a 4.3
