Right now i have 255/50/16's on the back, i'm looking for a wider low profile tire to stick on the back....what size should i be looking for? i was thinkin something like 245/45/16 the 255 is too tall and the sidewall is a little too tall for me, i'm looking for that low fat rear end look, i want the tires to kinda hang off the sides of the rim...any suggestions??

i dont really know how wide the rims are but you could use this chart to see how wide of a tire you could use on what rims. hope it helps. plus i really like this tire.

just find how wide of a tire you would like than look at rim width range

I have 245/45/ZR16 Toyo Proxes T1-S tires on mine. I had 245/50/r16 Toyo FZ4's before my new ones and the tire is the same width but is about a 1/2 inch shorter. I don't currently have any pics, but I might get some this weekend after I wash it.

I payed $112 a piece and thats my cost. I believe they run anywhere from $160+ retail.

I would say take your choice of any 245/50/16. They are a little shorter overall compared to your stock 235/55/16. There really isnt any other choice wider than that in a low profile. I might go with 255/50s or 265/50s, but I'm not looking for a low profile like you are. Sombody needs to make a 275/45/16. That would be perfect.

I finally washed my truck and took a pic of the tires. Putting the 245/45/zr16's dropped my truck a 1/2 inch on top of the 4/4 drop.

I have a 245/40/18 on a 18x8 on the front so they would have the same width as LilYelloZQ8's. Here are a few pics, you can sorta make out the inside outline of the front tire.

The back is a 295/35/ZR18 on a 18x9.5". It's going to be tough finding a wide low-profile tire for a 16" wheel. Just doing some quick searching on tirerack, a 245/45/16 looks to be your best bet. Unless you want to bump up to a 17" or bigger wheel....

Another thing to look at is the tread pattern. The right pattern can make a tire look wider then it actually is. Sorta an optical illusion.
