Im thinking of setting up an efan from our junk 94 pontiac transport on to the blazer. How should I hook it up. Im just wanting a switch that I can turn it on manually. I don't feel like trying to find the relay.

get the relay...its easy enough and cheap enough...its like 20 bucks at autozone...also then that way you wont have to worry about it overheating if you let someone borrow your truck.....

agreed get the relay. and if you do get the relay make sure you hook it up so that the fan only comes on when the keys is on. i hooked mine up so that it turns on when it reaches a certain temp. and wired it so it comes on all the time as long as it hits that certain temp. so it will come on 3-4 times after i shut the truck off. its annoying really annoying

Here's mine for some ideas - LT1 Electric fans conversion (http://www.s-10crewcab.com/HenryJ/fans/fans.html)
A relay to provide the power is a given. If this is a daily driver, then a thermostatic switch to activate it should be installed.
I REALLY like the variable speed controller that I used for my install. Well worth the money.

Nice work, looks great. How did you relocate your AIT sensor. Did you just extend the wire? And what did you use to plug the original hole. Any kind of performance increase? Click on my cardomain page to see what I did with my K&N FIPK, not finished though.

Currently I have sensors in both positions. But since I am confident that this will work now, I should put the filter restriction gauge in the rear most grommet-

Nothing performance wise that I could tell. It serves it's purpose though in buying enough time to run the cooler stat.

Your intake is a clever idea. I'd like to find a snorkel for mine someday. The dusty roads can really pack the K&N.
What do you think of your K&N dust bag? Worth the investment?
