ok, im lookin into dropping my blazer probally 3/4. my question is, i now have 1" blocks in the back to just level it out and when i bounce on the rear bumper, it hits a touch (barely). my thing would be when i do 4" total in back, will my exhaust still fit? i currently have a stainless gibson that i really dont feel like losing. what do you think my best options would be for the drop? i was thinking 2" spindles up front with 1" springs, then in the back, 3" drop leafs and the 1" block. any input would be great! also, pics are greatly appreciated too.

yeah 2" spindles and 1" coils up front (and new shocks) and 3" leafs in the rear (new shocks)
your exhaust should still work fine...if you are unsure, just crawl under and measure up from the axle tubes and see if you are gonna get caught up. you will also need to remove the bumpstop bracket.
dont forget an allighment ASAP...it will chew your tires up pretty quick

i know when i do my v8 swap and put a new flowmaster system on i will not be able to lead it to the back, I willhave to be able to go right in front of the back tires.... kinda sucks but i will make it look good.

i think i might have to dump before the rear axle. i have to go measure next chance i get.

Drop spindles and one inch coils in the front. Rear lose the blocks, we both know someone looking for a set, then use 3 inch drop springs and your exhaust is NOT gonna work. Leave it at 3/3 cause with the blocks and springs it'll bump steer like a pig.

Side note, someone we both know is looking for and exhaust. He is planning to make his own but I think he would be willing to trade off the needed parts you are going to need. His tailpipe will work for what you want and he is getting a 2 bolt flange to weld to the muffler inlet to run a performance muffler which he could utilize the factory tailpipe with a litte reducer off the muffler welded in.

You will also need to cut the bump stops off in the rear, I mean cut a little over 2 inches off them! John came in with a leak Friday and told me the ideas he is going with so give him a holler, I bet he will work it out!

yay ernie wants to go lower. spindles and springs should be fine in the front. make sure you get a front end alignment and make sure its after you lower the whole truck front and back. and i dont see why haveing the springs and blocks in the back would be a problem (never done it so not 100% sure) but dont see why they would. and yes good shocks will help alot. if you do strictly blocks in the back you dont need to put new shocks back there.

altough 3" springs up front and 3" or 4" blocks will be cheaper. i do think you'd be happier with the way you want to go. good luck
