I took my 1998 2.2L 5 spd up to Maryland Int'l Raceway's ALL Chevy GM Challenge, and w/ just a straight gutted pipe (nothing behind it) and 251,000 miles heres my slip:

(ive been drag racing for 3 years now, and im only 16).. Nothing like our race truck, but sure is nice 2 know what my daily driver turns in the 1/4, even w/ a bad slave cylinder

For a stock 2.2 those times are smokin'. Last one I drove was MrMidnights. A stellar 19.3 in that one.

oh yea shes a one wheel wonder, but im gettin a 10 bolt w/ 4.10 gears and a locker soon so she will burn them both, this ol 4 banger wont die, shes been through hell and never had any problems, after it goes or i save up the money im gonna get a mild small block. my 60 ft would have been better if i didnt have tire spin all through till 60 ft, i did a 4500 rpm staged clutch launch and all she wanted to do is spin, but thats what i get for leavin the michlin all terrain tires on it!

nice work man, i ran a 18.199 myself with intake n cat back n i only have 50k on mine...so i give you props...and yea that one wheel crap sucks huh, i could never get it to hook up, i had problems with spinnin in second too

yea its not the fastest thing in the world, but gets be back and forth 2 work and school and burns rubber in between, enough for me at the moment

yea, i just cant wait for get the s/c on with the nitrous...i hope it gets the job done, we'll find out after this weekend
