I have the Wynjammer and have several questions for the experts on the board:)
I want to add a boost gauge with white face to match my gauges.
Most of the gauges I looked at are from 20psi up to 60psi.

1- Anyone know of a gauge closer to the amount of boost we are running with the Wynjammer?

2- Will either electrical or mechanical boost gauges work?

I also purchased an MSD 6A Ignition based on the recommendations from the members here. I need to know

3- What else do I need to go with the 6A?
Any recommendations/model numbers for a coil, or anything else recommended (plug wires?) I have a set of NGK TR6 plugs.

Thanks for the info and help:)

1 - arent you running 6ps with the jammer?
2 - they should
3 - need nothing, some will reccomend a coil

Yes, it is 6psi.
I have never run a S/C before. Does that mean it will always run at 6psi or is it variable?
(I know, newbie S/C questions..., but I already have a pillar pod for a gauge, just need to pick one out)

I thought I read that if you use the MSD 6A you will need a new coil, as the 6A could put out enough to ruin your stock coil.

it should go up to 6psi, not higher. im not sure if Al has an upgrade to increase it like powerdyne does, but it should max out at 6. if you wanted you could go a little higher with the gauge readings to be safe.

You will just run the 6psi with the jammer but it will vary. Boost always varies. I would go with an electrical boost gauge. It will cost a little more but I think that it would please you more. With the electrical you just put in a sending unit then run it to the gauge. A mechanical one would actual require the boost pressure to run all the way to the gauge. Part number 105-5704 from Jeg's is a white boost gauge that would work but it is a mechanical one. I know you want white but this would look cool I think http://www.speedshop.org/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=20 As for the MSD 6A you should buy a gm harness so that installation will be easy. Here are some http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=3064&prmenbr=361 I got part number 121-8877 for my install.

Oh yeah... What other mods do you have?

A bunch of mods I will be removing and installing on my wife's truck when I install the S/C.

I am mostly collecting parts right now and when everything arrives I will begin the install"S".

I already have the ram air hood with cowl induction(functional), roll pan, altezza rear lights, bed rug, tail gate lock, tonau cover, BFG Traction T/A's, Lakewood traction bars, posi traction, optima red top battery, blacked out front lights, Xtreme white gauges, brushed billet gauge bezel, air bag, HVAC and light covers with polished billet knobs, carbon fiber dash bezel, fuse box cover, ash tray, glove box, door handle cups, power button covers, cassette tray/cover, side vents, , polished billet tilt lever, shifter and grab handle.
Audio- Kenwood Excelon 889, Kicker amp, ADS in custom kick pods, infinity Kappas in doors and dash, Titanic sub in the jump seat..., or where it "was", Raamat sound deadener and insulation installed for a quiet, rattle free ride, carbon fiber steering wheel cover..., may be going back to the leather (leather wheel was factory)A-pillar gauge pod, tinted limo windows, Xtreme on windshield and back glass..., and more "stuff"..., I don't think you ever get finished with an S10, LOL!!
Oh, almost forgot, the Wynjammer, plug wires, TR6 plugs, MSD ignition and the coil has not yet been purchased.

Here you go, some HELPFUL info now,
1. its a centrifigul s/c, -the more rpm's the higher the boost.

2. Run a mechanical gauge, its more accurate than a electric.

3. i run a white face guage made by a company called FAZE, goes from 0-30psi, and is very accurate.( checked it with a vaccuum gauge)

4. Unless you are really concerned about you 1/4 mile time, msd is not really needed, but helpful, and yes replace the coil with a stronger one.

5. dont run the boost guage off of the plentum, get a T-fitting and run it off or your booster, that way you will read vaccuum instead of constant boost.
You will only be able to run off your booster anyway if you want it to also read vaccuum. Any other vaccuum line on the intake manifold has a check valve, so it will only read vaccuum and never change.
