best run 8.17, but i ran a deadly consistant 8.31. I got about 6 slips in a row for 8.31. My reaction times are killing me, best of 1.86. Im thinking its running lean, every other scenario ive ruled out. Gunna try a double pumper a few jets sizes bigger next time around and maybe a pair of full slicks.

Yes!! at the end of this season Im gunna get a transbrake put in and a manual valve body when I freshen the transmission. I need some guidance with the gas, help me!!! seriously, though I gunna pm you my setup and see what you think. I may go with more gear, like 5:14 or higher. I want 7's and a mini wheelie.

I've seen that on carb motors from the fuel sloshing in the bowl on corners/acceleration. Usually if you can steal a 2 barrel carb from a race car, it will fix it.

damn I dont think a 2 barrel will fuel it! I see your point though. Im pretty sure its just sucking the bowls dry on initial throttle. once the engine is spun up the mech fuel loads the the bowls again. I probably could use a electric pump too. I know Ill need one when i get gas for it.
