So i have been looking for an amp to push two 12" Rockford Fosgate HE2s in the blazer. Talkin to my buddy last night and he offers me his amp. I am now the new owner of a JL Audio, 1000/1 Amp...oh man, is this thing pretty! 1000x1 amp :)

Man that is an awesome amp. There are more knobs to turn on that amp than on a space shuttle. I'm sure you'll love it.

nice ..... i also just picked up one last week for my W7's .

try and keep the impedence above 1.5 ohm , otherwise it will go into protection on ya . i would try and keep it @ 4ohm since it will still do 1000 watts at that ohm load .

NICE! If I had room for one, I'd be using one right now. . . Damn standard cab trucks! But, the subs, box, and amp add WEIGHT. . . A lot more than the Kicker 652xi and single 12" I've currently got, so I'm not too disgruntled about it. I've been thinking about removing my sub and amp as it is. . . But, the 6.5s and 4x6s just don't cut it for bass, though. . .

its actually TOO powerful for my HE2s...the cones go out too far if i have it up too loud. im not tuning it today cuz i need to work on a new box for it tomorrow. the one i temp. threw in was from my s10
