View Full Version : Stiff Front Shocks
Anybody know stiffer shocks then the belltech nitro drops? My zq8 shocks were twice as hard. Unfortunately i had to cut them off. With my 2" drop spindles i sometimes bottom out, any other solutions?

i heard a lot of good things about toxic shocks, i think htats who i may go with havent decided yet
I hope toxics are better for s-10's than they are for fullsizes....they tend to last around 6 months on a fullsize. Might want to take a look at Doetsch Tech shocks...good budget shock that's pretty stiff.

Look in to either Billsteins or Edelbrocks. They are both great shocks and they last.

I got a set of cheap gabriels that are extremely stiff. They take a hell beating and are still kicking.
kyb make a 2 inch drop shock.
if you want to spend the money get some ajustable Carrea(qa1) or Koni shock. These shocks are rebuildable so in theory would be a lifetime shock. I've had qa1s on my truck for a year now and they perform like new and i put allot of miles onroad as well as off road too. I payed 150bux a shock for the rears and 500 for the coilover conversion, but I was blowing the front shock every 2 months and the good ranchos wouldn't fit a stock higth 2wd so it evens out I guess.
