I have a cpmputer running XP. I go to start & select search. I then type in temporary internet files & click search. When it is done searching I delete the cookies & TIFs that it finds. However, there are a handful of cookies that it won't let me delete. They have names like "charlie@dailyshow" or "charlie@allenedmonds" or something to that extent. I have tried deleting them one by one but it still won't let me. Any suggestions?
Thanx!!!
Charlie

Open your IE Browser. Select tools / internet options. You should be able to delete temp files and cookies...;)

CCleaner is great but I would stay away from the registry fix option, I have used it but always come up with more problems then it fixed, for registry fixes I would suggest Registry Mechanic, piriform also has a program called "Speccy" which is excellent for getting info on your system, and if you delete something and want to get it back try recuva by them as well, all Free!
