EGR Mod

I keep seeing EGR Limiter in everyones signature and was wondering what this is. Any help would be appriciated.

Modify what, exactly?

The EGR limiter is a fitting that goes onto the EGR tube (between the tube and the intake manifold) that reduces the amount of inert gases (in the form of exhaust) that is pushed into the intake. What does it do, as far as power? Minimal power gain, but it does greatly reduce hesitation, which is always helpful.

If you've got a 4.3 it's a real good mod. Fairly easy to do also.

I got an even better mod on mine, egr DELETE! ;)

After arguing with Obi for 'bout a month about it. Glad I lost that argument.

actually he does have egr, my 03 xtreme has egr, the new ones are internal. the setup is good though so i don't think it needs any lovin' so to speak.

03 they began to use the newer programming which is refered to by some as OBD2 beta something. It uses a precat and higher efficiency cat that can eat NOx. Its now standard on all GM vehicles under 1/2 ton ratings!

Same Thing happened to me a little over 2 years ago when I discovered the old S10 Planet site, That was the father of this site. My truck was bone stock and UGLY. If you get a chance take a look at it now in the picture gallery. I've got a lowering kit sitting in the garage i haven't had a chance to put on yet.
