Anybody interested in a template for one?

Helped my buddy swap out the one on his 4.3 and noticed they take the same starter as a 2.8 (teeth count might be different).

I have one designed to fit on my 2.8. I'm not gonna promise it will be a bolt on swap for a 4.3 but might be a good starting point. It is however for the stock starters, might fit a mini but if it don't I don't wanna hear it. If you guys want it ill get it transfered over to some grid paper so you can copy it out and play with the size till its right. Otherwise ill save myself the work.

I was going to use a wrap when I put my headers in but a shield could be interesting. I wouldn't mind looking at what you got as far as a design.

Not a fan of wraps. They do hold out heat untill they get hot then hold it in longer. They will break down over time and soak up water bad. They will also hold water up on the starter and make it rust like crazy even when new.

Imho wraps of any kind have no place in the auto world, leave them for ankles.
