if you guys could help me out that would be great thanx
Which rear end do you have? Throw up the RPO codes and someone will tell you if it will work. I believe you need the 8.5" rear end for that to be able to work, and even then I dont know if the spline countwill be right, depends on year.

Go with a Zexel.

Yes that's a Zexel. It will work with a 7.625" rear with 28 spilnes (wicth are the 88' and newer rears).

Do you know witch carrier you have? Most Zexels' are "series 3" for 3.23 and up gear sets. You can use 3.08 and lower but you would still need to change to the "series 3" type gears.

Then you should have a "series 3" carrier.

Sorry the auctions over but $120 was a little high for a take-off, SLP sold them at $99. SLP no long offers the take-offs but you can get the Heavy-duty ones for $400.

is the heavy-duty one worth the 400?

Alot of people say it is, but I've never seen anyone with the unit. Seems everyone goes with an eaton or auburn when spending the big bucks.
